Meet the client
Little Green Refills, is a beautiful coffee house and refillery owned and operated by Ellen and Beth, who are passionate about reducing plastic waste. They offer a wide range of sustainable homewares, refills on household products, body care and delicious food items. Ellen and Beth opened Little Green Refills to help their local community reduce the use of single-use plastic containers that households commonly dispose of.
Having just opened up in their dream location, Ellen and Beth knew Little Green Refills’ brand identity needed a bit of work. To help them become a well-known face for all the right reasons in Abergavenny, they reached out to the wizards for our help.
After researching Little Green Refills’ competition and admired brands, our wizards knew they could create a brand identity that would captivate. But first, they had to find out about their vision, mission and values. So we went round to see Ellen and Beth, in their beautiful shop to find out all about what their future plans.
Our wizards made sure that they covered all bases at this stage, to show Little Green Refills all the different ways we could modernise and make their brand more effective. We presented lots of different style options to help Ellen and Beth see what could be possible. With an ambitious vision for the future, we needed to guide them to ensure the brand remained evergreen, however wide they expanded.
Ellen and Beth decided they wanted their logo to be bold, with a really chunky text and a bright green and gold colour scheme. The beautiful building, where they currently resided, was painted in a very custom shade and to save on their costs, it was important for us to include this in the concept designs.
We set to work showcasing new concepts. This included creating logos with retro styling, modern styling as well as a more simple, paired back identity. They both knew they wanted to stand out and almost immediately fell in love with a bold retro design, that would fit perfectly with their green shop front. With the logo concept chosen, our branding wizard got to work making sure that Little Green Refills didn’t just have a logo but a full brand identity.
Building on the final identity, our brand wizards built the toolkit to activate the brand. Showcasing the correct use of all the elements across various marketing assets, as well as packaging, staff uniforms and various outdoor signage. Little Green Refills were now ready to start the next stage of its business adventure, with a brilliant new brand, in a beautiful green shop.
